VEGETABLE GROWING SEASON 2014 HAS BEGUN!!!

There is always a bit of a sadness in the vegetable garden at this time of year. Apart from the Brassica bed which is looking so lush and healthy, most vegetables are coming to the end of their season and looking a bit tired. The days are dull and its starting to become cold and quite often wet. HOWEVER, a great pick-me-up this week has been the start of the growing season of 2014. Broad Bean aquadulce claudia has been direct sown in a double row and netted for protection. Here's to (fingers, toes, arms and legs crossed!) for another smashing year!!
